243: TRAVEL ON!

I know you've been reading about my blog for sometime right now. Most of the time I have posted about my travels that you can find here and in my facebook. If you want to know how I was able to travel 8 times for the last 10 months it's because I am a member of an exclusive traveling club. This traveling club was introduced to me by my sister who's based in Singapore. My sister was able to enjoy 13 travels in a span of a year (check her facebook account).

WHY AND HOW?

Plain and simple, we wanted to pioneer a team of fun loving travelers here in the PHILIPPINES. So if you keep your options open in making money, and you think you are the type of person who's fun loving, and is crazy to travel EMAILME (mlmvillareal@gmail.com).

There are things in life that we wish makes sense,
but it will always be just like that:
Unforgivably so ironic.

241: Time and People

Life Saver
"We'll meet at 3PM"
"No, let's make it 2PM because I know you won't be arriving by 3PM" I said almost skeptical  about the time arrangement.
"Hahaha, that won't happen" thus said my friend.

Don't get me wrong I love my friends and they are very dear to me but I cannot still comprehend why we take advantage on our relationship that we shrug off the respect of time?

I know arguing over something as little as time is not worth it. Not even worth for any relationship to be torn apart because of not being punctual and true to time appointments.

But let me say -- even though how clichè this seems -- that time is so expensive. You can't definitely buy it back once it's wasted.

I never really realized this until I got into a business. You see, minutes count in every business meetings. I cannot -- for the life of me -- be expected to wait for others on an appointment or meeting because there are so many things to be done. Sometimes 24 hours does not even fit to meet people, or to build your business, and it always makes me feel like I'm running out of time considering that I could not work on my business during weekdays because I have a corporate job to take care of.

If you are the type of person who's juggling work and business at the same time definitely time is of essence. It depresses me when a weekend is wasted, when I know I can spend my weekend for my personal growth or business. Others doesn't get that.

I mean why would someone tell you that they'll meet you by this time when they know that they won't be arriving on that time? Sometimes when others tells me that *we'll see each other by this certain time, I'll retort back if he meant that the time he gave is the time that he will be leaving his place or it's the time that he will be arriving on the place?

I don't understand why others won't just say that they will be leaving their place by -- example -- 4:00PM and arrive there by 5:00PM? I. JUST. DONT. GET IT.

If you wonder what happened, if my friend arrived on time, expect the worst: We cancelled the meeting because she had to wait for her car and she took a shower a bit too late. TADA. She said 3PM, but by 5PM her car hadn't arrived yet.

Well, I know I couldn't control that. So I did something I know I have control of, I  canceled the whole thing and instead made myself a cocktail and read Liz Uy's book/mag Stylized.

240: Photowalk: a Cuppa of Small Talk

A great talk with a great friend over a coffee.
Probably a best combination in the world.
