168: Holding On to His Promise

For the past few days I have exhausted my time trying to hone my skills in drawing, writing, and watercoloring. Spending time trying to be better in this area is just fulfilling. Though, I must admit that I had ups and downs, hits and miss. Sometimes I get incredibly impatient and frustrated because I don't get the outcome I was expecting, but I believe if I just continue practicing, I will eventually excel in them.

So in order for me to be better in them I thought that I'd practice every week, as long as my time permits. Then, learn from the expert by joining workshops or enrolling myself in a short class. ✔

Anyway, for the past few days I have been a recluse. I find it very calming because it gave me time to think about what I want to happen in my life for the next few years. I'm telling you, I am a perpetual thinking machine. I love ideas, thoughts, and plans. So, during my time of being alone I was able to contemplate and really thought about my life. I must say that thinking about my life and my life in the future took my emotions in different levels. It was all a mixture of sadness, frustration, excitement, and longing.

But even though I had felt sad, I focused on what I could achieve few years from now and it made me excited. I thought that if I just continue doing what I am doing, be good at what I do, remain faithful, keep the attitude, and trust God that He has wonderful plans laid out for me, the future will be good.

* HAHA, you know what ... up until now, I still have that feeling ... that mixture of feeling of longing of life, of the sense of hope for a better future, but I don't know maybe it's because of where I am right now, or maybe because I am just so frustrated with my artworks, or maybe it's because I'm PMSing ... but it's okay, this will pass. Emotions is a passing moment, it will eventually be gone.

what I had been doing, practicing drawing and drooling over Robert Downey Jr.
Sorry for the sucky phone camera.

99: Rant!: Losing Touch?

I have been wondering if I have lost my touch towards the habits that I used to love. First, losing my love on writing. I have been a frustrated writer. I may not be a proficient writer but yes every now and then (before) I used to ramble on my journal. I used to compose quite a few paragraphs. Now, I'm down to 1 paragraph to a few sentences.

I usually blame my work; telling myself that I am too tired to even think of an entry. Or I'd rather caught up with my missed sleep that's why I procrastinate writing until forgotten.

Second, losing my attraction towards drawing. I have been trying to improve my drawing ever since. Like on drawing, I also lost my attention on drawing.

It's frustrating. I know I do not want to lose these habits. In fact I want to add few things in my habits. There's sculpting, painting, and cooking. I hope that I won't be the type of person who turned out to be slaves of work that the only thing they know to do is to work and sleep.

Oh well ... So does this mean that I have totally lost my touch? -- no not yet. I may not write as often as I used to but at least I am able to think what to write about. As you know, evident of this entry. Then, I still have a time to draw though very very little. But, if I manage not to practice them even - even a little while, I'll lose it.

So I guess this all depends on me now, right?

61: "Incredibly incredible"

Incredibly, incredible.

That's what I usually say when something surpassing happened and incredibly incredible is just an apt expression for how fast the weekdays had passed. Believe me, when Monday came I was looking forward to weekend already. My colleague laughed at me and said that our Monday hasn't started yet and there I was already hoping for the weekdays to end.

Who can blame me anyway when weekend seem to pass me by without me feeling it. And what made me say so? Well it's because my weekends were spent with me sleeping in my room, trying to make up for my lack of sleep. So Saturdays and Sundays does not last long for me.

I blurted incredibly incredible earlier when I realized that weekdays had passed in the blink of an eye. It seems one day I was hoping it would then then there I was already hurrah-ing in my room because it's finally weekend. I can now go back to doing stuffs that I love. Indulging to things that I could not enjoy while on weekdays.

Anyhow for this weekend what I am looking forward to is the following:

1. Reading
2. Watching
3. Buying stuffs
4. Designing my header
5. Indulging by buying Whitehat

Let's just hope that I may be able to do it! :)

HAHAHA! I realized how shallow my post is. :P
